    Postcards Home – Week 52

To my dearest friends, family and fellow culture cravers,

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THAILAND!!

This week’s Postcards Home post is a little bit shorter than usual as I have spent the past week doing very very little other than relaxing – eat, sleep, relax, repeat.

I have spent the festive season with my family at the spectacular Twin Lotus Resort and Spa on Koh Lanta island in the South of Thailand.

    Postcards Home – Week 50

To my dearest friends, family and fellow culture cravers,

This week has been a week of very highs and very lows.

After I reluctantly said goodbye to Nicole at Bali airport, I jumped on a flight to Surabaya in East Java, Indonesia.

    Postcards Home – Week 48

To my dearest friends, family and fellow culture cravers,

Since last week’s post I’ve been on a whirlwind of adventures.

After a couple of nights exploring Kuala Lumpur (mostly its insanely delicious food stalls), I caught my flight to Denpasar, Bali. As I mentioned in my last Postcards Home post, here, I was meeting one of my best friends from home who I hadn’t seen since leaving the UK last December.

    Postcards Home – Week 47

To my dearest friends, family and fellow culture cravers,

This week was my last week in Borneo. After my wonderful trip on the Kinabatangan River (read about my experience here) I caught a bus to Semporna, a place, which is world-renowned for its diverse sea life. As I’m not a diver, I decided to head this way to check out the tropical islands as well as, snorkel in its vibrant waters.
